Zero Final (ゼロファイナル Zero Fainaru), also known as simply Final, is the special technique that Zero uses in the Mega Man Xtreme series. It is a powerful two-hit combo that Zero uses with his Z-Saber that starts off with a dash attack, followed by a rising skyward slash.

Mega Man Xtreme[]

In Mega Man Xtreme, Zero will be summoned to perform this technique if Mega Man X collects the "Z4" Zero Scramble program from Dr. Light's hidden capsule in Magna Centipede's stage in either Hard or Extreme Mode. It is a combination move of the two Zero Scramble programs, Dash and Rising. When summoning Zero to perform this technique, the player must make sure that X is facing the enemy or boss when doing so, or else Zero will miss the target, and Weapon Energy will be wasted. Zero Final is extremely powerful as it can inflict 10 units of damage to most bosses if it connects. However, as it costs 20 units for X to summon Zero to perform Zero Final, it can practically be used only once per stage.

It is interesting to note that this game refers to this technique as "Final".

Mega Man Xtreme 2[]

In Mega Man Xtreme 2, Zero will learn this technique if he comes across Dr. Light's hidden capsule in Tunnel Rhino's stage in Zero Mission mode or Extreme Mode. It behaves the same way as it does in the previous game. In Boss Attack Mode, it is worth noting that unless the player inputs the special code to allow both X and Zero to wear armor, Zero Final will otherwise be unavailable for Zero.
