Wheel Gator, known in Japan as Wheel Alligates (ホイール・アリゲイツ, Wheel Alligates^?), is one of the Mavericks in Mega Man X2 who is based off an alligator. He rides in his Dinosaur Tank to wreak havoc on the city. When you face him, the room is flooded in some sort of sludge (perhaps oil). He'll throw his Spin Wheel at you, which can also climb up walls. Stay on the walls unless you're chased by the wheels, as if you stay in the sludge, Wheel Gator can grab you in his jaws and chomp you, causing serious damage. His weakness is Strike Chain, which can really put a dent in his power. In Mega Man Xtreme, he falls prey to Magnet Mine. He also appear in the Boss Attack Mode from Mega Man Xtreme 2.
