'Project Elpizo'? Is that what it was called when Rockman Zero Complete Works was translated? 'Elpis' actually means something, specifically hope, in Greek, so it seems more likely that this is an example of a translation error rather than the project actually being called 'Elpizo' in-universe, regardless of whatever the character calls himself; deriving a name like 'Elpizo' from 'Elpis' is easy enough to make sense of regardless. Perhaps we should call the article 'Project Elpis' instead, but mention that it's called 'Project Elpizo' in the translation for English of Rockman Zero Complete Works so that we're not misleading anyone and still covering all bases.Webspidrman (talk) 05:10, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- It appears to lack an official English translation, so you can rename it if you wish, unless someone can point an official source where it appeared in English. But only for that reason. If it had an official English name and we were to rename it for the reason you gave, than we would need to rename the character too as he gave himself the same name as the project. Many names lost their original meaning in translations, Elpizo being just one of them.
