Shotman (ショットマン Shottoman), also known as Crazy Cannon in the Mega Man 2 instruction manual for the U.S. and in Mega Man Powered Up, is an enemy that appears in Flash Man's stage and in Crash Man's stage. It also appears in certain areas of Dr. Wily's castle. It attacks by shooting Mega Man and after a number of shots, it alternates its aim.

They appear in Crash Man's Stage in Mega Man II. They also appear in Mega Water S's & Hyper Storm H's Stage, as well as the 2nd Wily Tower Stage in Mega Man: The Wily Wars.

New Shotman

New Shotman (ニューショットマン Nyū Shottoman) is a new version of the Crazy Cannon that appears in Mega Man 3 and Mega Man II. It can shoot straight shots in both directions, and arc shots when Mega Man gets close to it. Oddly, it resembles a Met. A single Shadow Blade can take these robots down.

They appear in Magnet Man's and Top Man's Stages, as well as the final Wily Stage in Mega Man II. They also appear in Mega Water S' Stage in Mega Man: The Wily Wars.

A Shotman makes a brief appearance on the cover of the 3rd part of Mega Man 3: The Return of Dr. Wily. Later in Mega Man 10: Legends of the Blue Bomber, several New Shotmen can be seen with Magnet Man/Archie Comics, and in Sonic: Worlds Unite Battles Issue 1, the Shotmen themselves are finally seen as one of Wily's minions from Mega Man 2 in the Sky Patrol's training room.
