HD Battle Chip Image - Anubis

Anubis chip

For the boss from the Mega Man Zero series, see Anubis Necromancess.

Anubis, known as Poison Anubis (ポイズンアヌビス Poizun Anubisu) in Japan, is a Battle Chip from the Mega Man Battle Network series as as well as a Battle Card in the Mega Man Star Force series. It summons an Anubis statue (a pharaoh in Star Force) that releases poison in front of it. The poison continually drains the HP of targets until either the statue is destroyed or the user is destroyed. Anubis is used as an attack by PharaohMan.EXE during the battle against him. In Mega Man Battle Network 4 it is an Evil Chip, and can only be used if the player mets the condition to use Evil Chips.

Other media[]

MegaMan NT Warrior[]

An Anubis statue appears in the episode MegaMan Lives!. Rather than poisoning people like it does in the games, it can turn any threat into stone. However, it can easily be destroyed within a single hit as when SharkMan fin-cut it, though it turned him into stone as a consequence.

In MegaMan NT Warrior Axess, the Anubis chip was mentioned by Higsby in the episode It's All How You Look at It! as one of the battle chips to break SpoutMan's invincible barrier along with Poison Face, but neither he nor Lan possess any.
