New Shotman (ニューショットマン Nyū Shottoman) is an improved version of the original Shotman from the Mega Man series. It also bears some similarity to a Met. Like its predecessor, it was remodeled to spread projectiles instead of water. It can shoot straight shots in both directions, and arc shots when Mega Man gets close to it. A single Shadow Blade can take these robots down.

They appear in Magnet Man's stage in Mega Man 3 and Mega Man II, as well as Top Man's stage and the final Wily Stage in Mega Man II. They also appear in the stage of Mega Water S in Mega Man: The Wily Wars.
