Mega Upper

Mega Upper, known as Rock Upper (ロックアッパー Rokku Appā) in Japan, is a move used by Mega Man in the fighting games in which he appeared -- Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It generally involves Mega Man covering his fist in blue or yellow energy, and leaping into the air as he performs a powerful spiraling uppercut. This attack can hit multiple times and launch foes into the air in all of its appearances, except Super Smash Bros. His "Bad Box Art" rendition can use a similar move known as the Mega Uppercut in Street Fighter X Tekken.

In Super Smash Bros. for 3DS / Wii U, this attack is one of Mega Man's strongest attacks if it hits opponents at the start of the move, dealing 17% damage and sending opponents flying up into the air, and it is able to KO opponents when their damage percentages are 90% or higher. However, if it hits the opponent at the end of the move, the attack inflicts only inflicts 12% and sends opponents at a much shorter distance, and it doesn't KO opponents easily as if they were hit at the start of the move.
