Rockman X Mega Mission (ロックマンXメガミッション?) is a Carddas released by Bandai in 1995.

The history of Mega Mission happens between Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3. It's has also a manga history in Rockman Remix.

Dr. Doppler and the Incept Chasers

[edit] Returning Mavericks

The Mavericks ressurected by Dr. Doppler are stronger and have major changes in the appearance, the most common being color changes and Doppler's D symbol in the place of Sigma's Σ symbol. The L on the names means Limited.

[edit] Incept Chasers

The Incept Chasers are two creations of Dr. Doppler that has the job to take the bodies of the 8 ressurected Mavericks and give to the Limited.

  • Curtiss: Curtiss is a Maverick that was killed by his "partner" Schmitt. His main attack is a giant boomerang. He doesn't has a chance to use his boomerang in the manga.
  • Schmitt: Schmitt is a fast Maverick that attacks with powerful karate chops. He was defeat by X and Zero, and later used by Doppler to power the Mother Limited.

iX fighting against X

X (イクス Ikusu?, a play of エックス (ekkusu) which is pronunced iks, called iX by fans to differ from the original), also known as EX in Bandai toys, is a evil X created by Dr. Doppler by using the data he gathered from X and giving Schmitt's body to the Limited. He is later revived as Return X in Mega Mission 3.

In the manga, iX appears as a evil inner of X when he was infected by the Limited, and is later materialized by making the Limited absorb Schmitt and the bodies of the eight ressurected Mavericks.

Limited is a creation of Dr. Doppler. It evolves into Mother Limited after absorbing IX.

The Masquerades is a group that attacked the Maverick Hunters. It's later revealed that they are four revived Mavericks under a disguise. Their first name is the name of their colors in German. The HL on the Maverick names means Hyper Limited.

Return X is IX from the first Mega Mission revived, with a different appearance.

Enemice HL is the main enemy from Mega Mission 3. He fuses with the four Mavericks and turns into Mix Forte for a short time.
