Mega Man Eternal II

Mega Man Eternal II (Mega Man Eternal 2) is a fan game being made by D.R.Page that began development in 2014. It is the sequel to Mega Man Eternal and currently is in development. The game's graphics and music are Gameboy-inspired, and it takes place after the events of Mega Man Eternal. Much of the details for the plot are to be announced in the near future.

Robot Masters

On May 30, 2015, the creator announced officially the robot masters of Mega Man Eternal II [1]. It will have four male Robot Masters and four female Robot Masters.

Online Leaderboards

A new feature in the game is an online leader board system. Much of the details of the entire system have not been announced, but it has been confirmed[2] that mini games will have leader boards.

Minigames

This game features a lobby called Holiday Park. In this lobby, there are eight mini games, one based the themes of each robot master in the game[2]. Every mini game has a top 10 leader board system similar to the Mega Man Zero series.[2].

Gallery

Like its predecessor, the game features a Gallery with fan art, concept art, and a sound test. The creator received 60 pieces of fan art[3].

Preview

In March 2015, the creator released a simple demo[4] to demonstrate the online leader board system the game will have. Its inspiration are classic shoot'em'up games and Mega Man Rush Marine.

Trivia

  • The game is played within an interface inspired by the Super Gameboy.  Similarly, the game features colour themes and colour palette swapping functionality[5].
  • Features a classic Gameboy filter that includes Super Gameboy functionality[6].
  • The game features a stage select similar to the first game but is further enhanced with a map system.[7].
