Mega Man (PC version) is a DOS game released in the USA in 1990. It was officially licensed by Capcom USA to Hi-Tech Expressions. The game was developed in association with Rozner Labs.

It is the year 2009 (just after the events of Mega Man 2), and the world is peaceful thanks to the efforts of the peacekeeping supercomputer CRORQ. However, robots around the world start to malfunction and turn violent. Dr. Light sends Mega Man to investigate and hunt down the three Robot Masters at the head of the violent insurrections- Dyna Man, Sonic Man, and Volt Man. However, these Robot Masters are holding up in a large fortress, each holding a key to an inner sanctum. Mega Man makes his way to each Robot Master's lair, defeating hordes of enemies, and obtains the three keys he needs to unlock the door leading to the source of the robot insurrection- Dr. Wily's Skull Castle! Mega Man makes his way deep inside, where he discovers that Wily had reprogrammed CRORQ to use it to obtain the ends to his own evil desires. Mega Man has no choice but to defeat CRORQ, then Dr. Wily, putting Wily's plans on ice...

The game's ending leaves much to be desired. Once the player completes the game, all they get is a simple, one-screen ending in which they are informed that "Wiley has surrendered and Mega Man has saved the planet from destruction." Of course, the big question is, "will it last?" (And note the major emphasis on "But will it last!!")

- Unlike any other games, Mega Man (PC) only had three Robot Masters.
- A common fan comment is that when Mega Man goes to Wily's fortress, it looks more like Mega Man is going to Wily's house.
- The game had no music, sub-par graphics, and low quality sounds.
- The box art of the game showed Rush in the background, but in the actual game you do not get any powerups apart from those of the Robot Masters, and when they are used, Mega Man doesn't change colour. Megaman can't charge his blaster either.
- Site user, Yahweh_divine, is making a remake of both Mega Man PC and Mega Man 3 (PC), featuring NES-style graphics, a customized 8-bit soundtrack, and more. The remake is called Mega Man PC: The CRORQ Chronicles.
