Magna Centipede, known in Japan as Magne Hyakulegger (マグネ・ヒャクレッガー?), is a Maverick in Mega Man X2 that is based off a centipede. He dwells in the Central Computer, which is believed to have been used to spread the Sigma Virus around the world. The way he poses and attacks looks like a ninja, teleporting around the room and sending shuriken-like projetiles. His weapon, Magnet Mine, can seek out its targets, but if the Silk Shot is used against him, his tail will breaks off, unabling him to use the Magnet Mine. Keep using Silk Shot to destroy him.
He also appears in the Game Boy game Mega Man Xtreme as a reproduced boss data after completing the game once, in the Boss Attack mode from Mega Man Xtreme 2, and as one of Metal Shark Player's attacks in Mega Man X6.
In the carddas Rockman X Mega Mission 2, he is revived as "Magne Hyakulegger L".

- It should be noted that Centipede's stage is also where the final battle against Sigma takes place, although in a different room.
- He and Centaur Man both have a pair of extra limbs. Magna Centipede has extra arms and Centaur Man has extra legs.
- It is intresting to note that he and all the other known (former) members of the Zero unit (excluding Zero himself) are all arthropods (an arthropod being any invertebrate of the phylum Arthropoda, having a segmented body, jointed limbs, and usually a chitinous shell that undergoes moltings, including the insects, spiders and other arachnids, crustaceans, and myriapods.((definition from dictionary.com)))
