Light Labs

Light Labs is the complex that serves as the home of Dr. Light and his family of robots, including Rock, Roll, Auto, Rush, Tango, and Eddie. It has also served as the birthplace for many other Lightbots, including Protoman and the six Industrial Robot Masters. Dr. Wily once lived here as well, before his betrayal of Light and the theft and reprogramming of the Robot Masters. Others have been sent here for repairs, including Duo and Bass and Treble, it was from here that that Bass stole the plans for the Super Adapter.

Light Labs is usually represented by a single image in the different games that it appears in. Though the best representation of Light Labs is found in the introduction level of Mega Man: Powered Up, it is not always taken as canon, so the layout may be disputed. Other appearances have shown the lab to be varying appearances. Some have had it in the city, others have the building surrounded by trees. In either case, Light Labs is usually depicted as a futuristic looking building with a blue roof and technology embedded into the walls. There is usually a mailbox in front of the house as well. The inside of the lab is usually characterized by metallic walls and one or several large computers and monitors. The size of the lab is never fully revealed, as it is usually only represented by a single room in most games.
