Jet Stingray, known as Jet Stingren (ジェット・スティングレン, Jet Stingren^?) in Japan, is one of the Repliforce, who are labeled Maverick because of their desire to be independant. His weapon is Ground Hunter, which are basically robotic stingrays he shoots. He's a bit of a coward, and ice weapons actually freeze him momentarily. X can use Frost Tower with a bit of rhythm of jumping. With Zero, using Hyouretsuzan on Jet Stingray takes practice. A popular strategy is to have both Hyouretsuzan and Kūenbu. Double jump when Jet approaches, and then use Hyouretsuzan. Jet Stingray is invulnerable while frozen.

Most bosses show the ability that you gain during the fight. X's Ground Hunter is obviously the red mini-stingrays. Zero's air dash, or Hienkyaku, is made after Jet Sting Ray's dashing up,down, to the sides.
