Force Field is the weapon Mega Man obtains after defeating Volt Man. It creates a circular magnetic field around Mega Man, protecting him from enemy projectiles as well as draining weapon energy whilst he has it up. He can also deactivate the barrier when the fire button is pressed again. The barrier turns off when it makes contact with something that is not killed in a single hit.
It acts as Dyna Man's weakness, because it can short out the fuses on his bombs.
