The Ride Armor type EG-2 custom "Rabbit" (ライドアーマータイプEG-2カスタム 「ラビット」), also known as Mobile Attack Armor,[1], is a modified mining Ride Armor model once used for rock drilling. Due to its higher destructive power and short-range flight, it was deployed for combat by Sigma's army.

Ride Armor[]

In Mega Man X2, Rabbit can be found in Crystal Snail's stage, Wheel Gator's stage, and X-Hunter Stage 3. Its spiked fists can destroy certain blocks that X cannot, such as crystals. By holding the FIRE button, the Ride Armor spins its spikes to rev up a powerful attack. The spikes spin for as long as the button is held, dealing continuous damage to enemies that come in contact. Furthermore, the Ride Armor is capable of dashing and changing direction while revving, but not walking or jumping. Once the button is released, the armor performs a dash punch attack. It can also hover for a short period of time by holding the JUMP button while in the air. Because of this, its dash-jump is able to clear extremely long distances.

In Mega Man Xtreme, the Ride Armor appeared in Chill Penguin's stage and Wheel Gator's stage, and replaced the Ride Armor of Mega Man X.

In Mega Man Xtreme 2, the Ride Armor appeared in Neon Tiger's stage, Tunnel Rhino's stage, and Laguz Research Laboratory 1. It shares the color palette with the pilot, so it will be red when Zero uses it.

Rideroid G[]

Rideroid G (ライドロイドG Raidoroido G),[2] also called Ride loid-G and Ride roid-G,[3] is an enemy in Mega Man X2 and Mega Man Xtreme, a Reploid soldier that is training to pilot the Ride Armor Rabbit.[4] As Rideroid Gs are still in training, they are not good at maneuvering Ride Armors.[5] They appear in Wheel Gator's stage, Dinosaur Tank.

In Mega Man X2, the Rideroid G will first appear outside their Ride Armor if X isn't with one, and will enter the Ride Armor when approached. If X takes a Rideroid G's Ride Armor without defeating him, he will attack with shots.

In Mega Man Xtreme, Rideroid G also replaces the Armor Soldier in Chill Penguin's stage, and it will never gets off the Ride Armor.

Mega Man X DiVE[]

In Mega Man X DiVE features an enemy that pilots the Ride Armor Rabbit like Riderroid G. Its pilot is not Rideroid G, but an unnamed character created with Mad Joey's model and Ride Armor's color. like the Mega Man Xtreme, the pilot will never gets off the Ride Armor.

In addition, some Ride Armor Rabbits are unmanned as enemies, but it still cannot be used by Player.

Other media[]

In the manga Rockman X2, Rideroid Gs driving the Ride Armor Rabbit are among the Maverick minions that gathered near the reawakened Zero.
