This Wily Castle is the Wily Castle used by Dr. Wily in Mega Man III. Mega Man visits this fortress twice, once after each wave of Robot Masters. It is divided into two short intermission stages, each with a boss.

Mega Man III

First Stage

The first stage is accessed after Mega Man defeats the first four Robot Masters (the ones from Mega Man 3). It is a very short stage with no enemies or goodies: only one room with pits, but it also introduces Appearing Blocks and red dropping platforms. The latter is actually two halves and when stood on, the platform quickly splits apart to drop the player before coming back together. The timing is enough that the player can make a full jump and still land on the platform when it comes back together. There are only 2 red dropping platforms in this stage. The stage's boss is Giant Suzy.

After Giant Suzy's defeat, Mega Man gains access to the second Stage Select, to face the second wave of Robot Masters (the ones from Mega Man 4).

There are no pickups to speak of.

Second Stage

The second stage is accessed after Mega Man defeats the second four Robot Masters (the ones from Mega Man 4). It is even shorter than before, only making up a boss hallway and a short cutscene that transitions to a boss battle with the second Mega Man Killer, Punk.

After Punk's defeat, Wily escapes to the Wily Station and Mega Man follows him.

Rockman World 3 (manga)

After defeating Spark Man, Rockman finds Wily's base and fights Giant Suzy here before battling the four Wily Numbers he faces in the game, and the base is destroyed after Dive Man's defeat. Unlike the game, Rockman faces Punk in the Wily Station.
