We're at an end of an era here. This is the final NES MM game. It was released in 1,993, well over a year after the release of the SNES. It was one of the last NES games, and soon after its release the 8-bit gaming era came to an abrupt end. It was the last MM game ever to be made. EVER. Until MM7 in 1,995, anyway.
I'm just going to go ahead and say it: I really liked playing this game. The Rush adapters were quite different and they changed a lot of the gameplay for me. The levels kept things interesting. I especially liked Centaur Man's stage with the water on the ceiling. The graphics are, quite frankly, awesome.
In this run I got Beat but I never used him. I also didn't get 100% because I didn't want to backtrack for the viewer's sakes - all 11 of them - so I opted against returning to Tomahawk Man's stage for the Energy Balancer.
Next up we're leaving the NES era and moving onto the Game Boy games and the SNES games.
