- "Keeheehee! Bow, weakling!"
- ―SkullMan, Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge
SkullMan.EXE (スカルマン.EXE Sukaruman Eguze) is a NetNavi from the Mega Man Battle Network series operated by Miyu.
Appearnace[]
Compare to his Robot Master counterpart, SkullMan has an appearance akin to a human skeleton. He has a black thin body, a skull-like face, yellow neck with two white thin parts on the back of it, a white torso with two rectangular holes on both sides, yellow parts on each of his lower arms and legs, skull-shaped parts on each side of his shoulders and red-white feet.
His Navi mark has a red surrounding and represents what appears to be a face of a skull with a triangular mark on top.
History[]
Mega Man Battle Network[]
SkullMan is an optional boss which can be defeated for Miyu's security code.
Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge[]
SkullMan is one of the competitors in the Battle Chip GP.
Other media[]
Anime[]
Much like his video game counterpart, SkullMan serves as the NetNavi of Miyu, with the additional details in that Miyu is a Net Agent who goes under the name Mysteriyu and the two of them work together with fellow Net Agents Maysa (disguised as Commander Beef), SharkMan, Sal (disguised as Black Rose), and WoodMan.
Manga[]
MegaMan NT Warrior[]
SkullMan had captured MegaMan in order to prevent him from going to the dangerous Undernet, saying he is too weak for the area. SkullMan promises to allow MegaMan to leave if the latter manages to defeat the former, but MegaMan himself is unable to harm SkullMan. When Lan finds MegaMan, the duo manage to defeat SkullMan and they become friends.
Abilities[]
SkullMan has the ability to break apart his body and attack in separate pieces. He shows very few abilities. He retains some of these attacks in the anime.
- Bone Crush[1], known as Bone Stalker (ボーンストーカー Bōn Sutōkā) in Japan:
SkullMan detaches his arms and they are thrown at the opponent. They slowly chase after MegaMan, and can block his shots. Known as Boomerang Bones in the NT Warrior English dub.
- Onibi (オニビ lit. “Demon Fire”):
SkullMan summons a ball of flame that rushes straight down a row. Known as Ghost Fire in the NT Warrior English dub.
- Skull (シャレコーベイ Sharekōbei):
SkullMan launches his head upward, and then crushes MegaMan with his enlarged skull head. This move breaks shields, but leaves SkullMan wide open for a counterattack. This move only appears in the game and manga. This is called Skull Crush in the NT Warrior manga.
