- "I'll control you with a hypnosis flash! Nya hah!"
- ―FlashMan, Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge
FlashMan.EXE (フラッシュマン.EXE Furasshuman Eguze) is a NetNavi operated by Rei Saiko.
Appearance[]
FlashMan.EXE resembles a more lean and mechanical version of his Robot Master counterpart. He has more white on his armor than yellow, including a mask that covers his entire face save for his eyes. The lamp on his head also forms a visor-like brim around his head. Rather than an arm cannon, his arms are both equipped with shield-like bracers, and he can detach the crystal balls from his shoulders to use his Hypno Flash ability.
History[]
Mega Man Battle Network 3[]
FlashMan steals a Tetra Code for Alpha in Lan's school, and hypnotizes Lan's friends with his Hypno Flash (a bright series of lights) when they interfere. Lan manages to escape and deflect the Hypno Rays with an umbrella he found in the school. MegaMan jacks into the Principal's PC and defeats him. However, FlashMan self-destructs with his Shining Browser Crasher and leaves MegaMan with a glitch. It doesn't surface at first, but later he is unable to jack-out, forcing him walk back to his jack in point.
He later reappears using Full Synchro with Rei in order to stop MegaMan in Castle Wily, but is defeated again. He then attempts to utilize his Shining Browser Crasher again on MegaMan, but ended up deleted by Tora and KingMan before completing it.

Abilities [1][2][3][]
- Neon Light (ネオンライト Neon Raito):
Damage: 10 / 30 / 60 / 100
FlashMan summons an orb of light that moves across the ground, randomly zigzagging as it travels forth. It does not travel past holes. This is called Neon Lite in the English Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge.
- Spark Arm (スパークアーム[4] Supāku Āmu):
Damage: 15 / 45 / 90 / 150
FlashMan will move to the front of his area and hit in a WideSword-esque fashion, also extending an extra panel forward. He often uses this with Area Grab and Flash Light.
- Flash Light (フラッシュライト[5] Furasshu Raito):
Damage: 0 / 0 / 0 / 0
FlashMan summons two bulbs on the player's field. After some time, the bulbs will flash and disappear, causing paralysis. This attack pierces Invis, negating it, but cannot pierce Barriers, as it does no damage. The bulbs can be destroyed.
- Hypno Flash, known in Japan as
Hypnosis Flash (ヒプノシスフラッシュ Hipunoshisu Furasshu):
Story cutscenes only. A move FlashMan can send to human beings outside the cyberworld through a monitor. It's a powerful ray that will instantly hypnotize those who come in contact.
- Shining Browser Crasher (シャイニング・ブラウザ・クラッシャー Shainingu Burauza Kurasshā):
Story cutscenes only. A tactic that FlashMan only uses in desperation where he self destructs in a blinding white burst. Over time, his foe's PET will glitch up, making it unstable enough for Navis to be unable to talk to the operator and even unable to jack out.
