JammingMan.EXE (ジャミングマン Jaminguman) is a NetNavi from the Rockman EXE series created by Cache. He has the power to jam electromagnetic wave signals from electronic devices, cutting off contact between NetNavis and their operators.

History[]

Rockman.EXE Phantom of Network[]

In Chapter 6, he uses his jamming abilities to cause chaos in the Cyberworld, making several devices to break and cutting communications. When Rockman finds him in Mobile Area no Dennō 4, he cuts his contact with Netto, almost forcing him to battle only with his Buster. Despite the interference, Netto manages to contact Rockman and send Battle Chips, and they manage to defeat JammingMan.

JammingMan reappears in Chapter 7 to cause interference and protect Cache, forcing Rockman to retreat. After receiving protection against his jamming, Rockman faces him again alongside a Cache Data copy of FireMan in the final chapter. After Cache's defeat, he summons 10 JammingMen to cause a powerful interference that forces Rockman to lose contact with Netto. However, their strong bonds allow them to keep contact despite the jamming, and they defeat Cache.

Design[]

Character designer Yuji Ishihara was instructed to make a character that uses the same pose as FlameMan. He kept the design simple, but wanted to make JammingMan make anyone who looked at him feel “uneasy”. [2]
