Hoppider (ホッパイダー Hoppaidā) is a small spider enemy from Mega Man Zero released in sets of 7 by the "Kumōteru" nest.
Hoppider also appears in the Enemy Battle minigame from Mega Man Zero 2 and in one of Zero's attacks in SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.
Kumōteru[]
Kumōteru (クモーテル) is the nest that releases Hoppiders in Mega Man Zero and the Enemy Battle minigame in Mega Man Zero 2. It's invincible in Mega Man Zero 2 to keep Hoppiders appearing to the players.
Etymology[]
- Hoppider is a combination of the words hopper and spider.
- "Kumōteru" is derived from the Japanese word kumo (spider).
