Factory Stage (工場ステージ), known as Prototype Weapons Plant in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, is a stage from Mega Man X, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, Mega Man Xtreme 2, and Mega Man X DiVE.

Appearances[]

Mega Man X / Maverick Hunter X[]

Planning to use this factory to produce weapons for his army, Sigma ordered Flame Mammoth to guard the factory during his uprising. X went to the factory to destroy the Mavericks that controlled it. The stage is full of conveyor belts that mess with X's movement, along with dangerous lava along the bottom of several areas. There are also automated crushers that will instantly kill X if he gets caught, along with fire hazards such as geysers of lava and dripping pipes.

After defeating Chill Penguin in the Snow Mountain Stage, the molten metal in the factory will cool down, making it safe to stand on it and stopping the lava geysers.

Mega Man Xtreme 2[]

In X Mission, Flame Mammoth protects a factory from Laguz Island that is similar to the factory that he controlled in the past. Its layout is very similar to the one in Mega Man X, but with some added conveyor belts. The lack of Chill Penguin means the factory's lava cannot be frozen.

Rockman X (manga)[]

After Vile destroyed Armored Armadillo, Vile told X to go to Point Z-O-R-X, where he may find a new upgrade to become worthy of the title of Mega Man. On his way to Point Z-O-R-X, X passes by a giant factory that no one dares to get close due to it being considered a Reploid graveyard. While in the factory, X finds that several machines supposed to be scrapped are still active, and the area is being used by Sigma as a graveyard for the Reploids that opposed him. Flame Mammoth protects the factory, and he can use the corpses sent to him to repair himself. Despite having the advantage, X is able to defeat Flame Mammoth. After the battle, X finds that Flame Mammoth's true form is a small robot that hates taller Reploids for treating him badly due to his size. After X talks with him, Flame Mammoth opens a secret exit for X as a way to amend for his mistakes and asks X to hurry and finish him, but X spares Flame Mammoth, saying that it would not be right as many lives were already lost.
