Vulcan series

The Vulcan series in Mega Man Battle Network 5.

Vulcan (バルカン Barukan) is a non elemental Battle Chip from the Mega Man Battle Network series. It creates a gatling on the NetNavi's arm that rapidly fires several, low damage shots that also hurts anything behind the target. There are four versions of Vulcan, each firing more shots.

Vulcan 1[]

Vulcan 1 shoots 3 times, each hit dealing 10 damage, for a maximum of 30 damage.

Vulcan 2[]

Vulcan 2 shoots 5 times, each hit dealing 10 damage, for a max of 50 damage. In Mega Man Battle Network 6 it shoots 4 times and causes 15 damage per hit dealing a total of 60 damage.

Vulcan 3[]

Vulcan 3 shoots 7 times, each hit dealing 10 damage, for a max of 70 damage. In Mega Man Battle Network 6 it shoots 5 times and causes 20 damage per hit for a total of 100 damage.

Super Vulcan[]

Super Vulcan (スーパーバルカン) is a golden version of Vulcan. In Mega Man Battle Network 4-5 and Rockman.EXE 4.5 Real Operation it is a Mega Chip that fires 12 shots, each doing 10 damage, totaling to 120 damage if all hits connect. In Mega Man Battle Network 6 it is a Standard Chip that fires 10 shots, each causing 20 damage. It can be won in the final virus battle.

Super Vulcan is also known to be one of the Battle Chips to be able to cause incredibly high damage in a single turn by combining Double Point + Super Vulcan + Atk+30 + Atk+10 + Atk+10, for a total of 1440 damage. Full Synch double the damage to 2880. Beast Out also improves it in the sixth game.
