This article is about the the video game version of VideoMan.EXE. For his anime counterparts, see VideoMan.EXE (Darkloid), Asteroid VideoMan.EXE and VideoMan.EXE (Beyondard).

VideoMan.EXE (ビデオマン Bideoman) is the NetNavi of Viddy Narcy, who assists with video editing work. Despite his rough exterior, he is dedicated to create beautiful pictures. He can't accept when the image quality of the video deteriorates[1].

Appearance[]

X8NavigatorAlertIconEdit This section requires expansion.

VideoMan has red eyes and green teeth when he grins. His body main consist of black and green lines. VideoMan has a gray helmet with ports on the front, each of them is yellow, white and red (representing the video, left audio and right audio ports on a television).

His Navi mark has a gray surrounding and simply shows a green triangular arrow pointing right, which represents a play symbol, on a black background.

History[]

Mega Man Battle Network 4[]

He appears in the Eagle/Hawk Tournament. He and his owner, Viddy Narcy end up randomly as Lan Hikari and MegaMan's opponent. Viddy tricks Lan by pretending VideoMan was dying and that he wanted to make the tournament his fondest memory. However, Viddy sabotages Lan's PET, causing MegaMan to move in every direction in reverse. Lan and MegaMan manage to fix the problem and defeat VideoMan and Viddy in the tournament.

Anime[]

VideoMan has three different counterparts in the anime. The first is a Darkloid who serves under ShadeMan. The second is an Asteroid who is given to Narcy Hide by Slur. The third is a Beyondard Navi operated by Narcy Hide from Beyondard.

Abilities[]

VideoMan's Navi Mark

  • Float Shoes (フロートシューズ Furōto Shūzu):
VideoMan does not feel the negative effect of panels and can float over broken panels.
  • Tapeline (テープライン Tēpurain):
Two strings of tape will be at the third and fourth columns. They will push MegaMan back, should he walk into one, and will block attacks. They have only 1 HP, so can easily be dealt with by using the Mega Buster. In the anime, VideoMan uses it to nullify attacks.
  • Wind Cutter (ワインドカッター Waindo Kattā):
A roll of tape strikes a 2x2 area multiple times.
  • Recording Playback (ロクガサイセイ[2][3] Rokuga Saisei):
A copy of MegaMan is created and attacks with either Tornado, Wide Sword, or Energy Bomb. In EXE4.5, VideoMan creates a copy of the player's Navi for the same action.
  • Fast Forward (ハヤオクリ Hayaokuri):
VideoMan changes color (red) and starts moving faster.
  • Rewind (マキモドシ Makimodoshi):
VideoMan changes color (blue) and starts healing.
