SparkMan appears randomly in The Den Battle/City Battle Tournament. His operator cheats to win by changing Lan's Folder in his PET to one with weak Battle Chips. But Lan fixes the problem with the help of Jomon's grandfather, the chief of JomonElec, who needs a 7 digit code. Later, SparkMan battles MegaMan in the Tournament, but loses. Afterwards, he and Terry get into a fight, blaming each other for the loss.

Trivia[]
- Apparently Keiji Inafune's son praised Yuji Ishihara on this SparkMan design[4]. Ishihara suspects this influenced the team being told to make more bulky armored characters than thinner ones that looks like they're wearing full-body leotard[5].
- In the game Mega Man X DiVE, the weapon Glittering Spark, known as Teruo Spark (テルオスパーク Teruo Supāku) in Japan, is based on SparkMan's arm. Its Japanese name is probably derived from Terry Jomon's Japanese name "Teruo Jomon" and "SparkMan".
