"Trunk full of money stolen(?) by servbots"
—Item description

Trunk is an item obtained in during a side-quest in Downtown that becomes available after reparing the Flutter and if the bank and police station are functional. After seeing the news about the police chasing robbers in Downtown, Barrell asks MegaMan Volnutt to assist them, and he stops the red car used by two Servbots by shooting it until it explodes. In the confusion, the Servbots run away and they lose the trunk containing the money, which is found by MegaMan. Afterwards, MegaMan can either return it to the Inspector or keep it to himself.

If MegaMan returns the trunk, his ethics value increases by 48, MegaMan gains 20000 Zenny, and the Stripe Burger will open in Downtown. If he keeps the trunk, he will gain one million Zenny, but the ethics value will instantly drop to 0 (making MegaMan dark) and the Stripe Burger will not appear. Either way, it is later discovered that it was all a misunderstanding. The money was not stolen, but borrowed by the Servbots to start a business. Returning the money gives them a chance to start a honest business, while taking it will leave them with a big debt.
