The Deployment Center (派遣センター?) is a feature in Mega Man X: Command Mission that becomes available after completing Chapter 3. X can deploy up to three units per area to search for items by talking with Nana in Central Tower. After a while, the units return from the areas and if the mission was successful, the units will bring back items. But, sometimes one or more units are defeated during the mission, and Nana sends a member of the Resistance to retrieve and repair them.

Units

Units are deployed to search for items in the selected areas. There are three types of units: Combat-type units defeat enemies to collect Zenny, Search-type units use a special sensor to detect items, and Intelligence-type units use a radar to search for disks.

Each unit has 5 stats: Vitality, Attack, Search, Intelligence and Move. Vitality determines the likelihood of the unit returning safe from a mission, Attack determines the amount of Zenny that is collected, Search determines the likelihood of finding items, Intelligence the chances of finding Disks, and Move affects the amount of time it takes to complete the mission. All units start at level 1, and their abilities increase when they level up. At level 10, they are added to the Hall of Fame and can no longer increase their stats.

The first unit chosen will be the leader of the party, and it affects their morale. After choosing the units, Nana will say whether the parties composition will have a chance at success.
