"Mega Man: The Danger Wrap fires out a bomb encased in a bubble, doesn't it?
Dr. Light: Yes, but it can also be used to encase other things besides bombs.
"
―Mega Man and Dr. Light, Mega Man 7

Danger Wrap (デンジャーラップ Denjā Rappu) is Burst Man's Special Weapon from Mega Man 7. When equipped, Mega Man releases a bomb inside a bubble that travels upwards, which can trap certain enemies (including Cloud Man) in the bubble while the bomb inside it explodes. The player can also push the bubble if there is an enemy inside, causing considerable damage to another enemy if hit. If the player holds down on the D-Pad and presses the fire Button, Mega Man merely places a bomb on the ground in front of him. Up to three of these mines be on the screen at a time. Danger Wrap is the only weapon that can destroy the Spiral Gabyoalls which any other weapons will otherwise paralyze it briefly.

Danger Wrap is Cloud Man and Mash's weakness. For Cloud Man, hitting him with it will not only encase him in the bubble, but it will also cause him to come crashing down, forcing him to restart his attack pattern with minimal timing required.

The Danger Wrap is used by Mega Man in the fighting game Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U as an alternate variation for his side special, Crash Bomber. However, it must be unlocked before it can be swapped out, and works somewhat differently to its original counterpart.

When used, instead of trapping opponents inside the bubble itself, the projectile itself explodes upon contact with an opponent, hitting up to three times with a fairly large blast radius. It deals 3% in the first two hits and 7% in the last one, dealing 13% total damage and knocking opponents back further than both the Crash Bomber and the Ice Slasher.

Whilst powerful, its main drawback is that is it can be difficult to hit opponents with from a distance due to its odd firing trajectory. Due to how it arcs upwards however, it can be a very effective close-range and anti-air weapon; in effect, a blessing-in-disguise.
