Shotman (ショットマン Shottoman), also known as Crazy Cannon,[1] is an enemy from the Mega Man series that was originally used as a firefighter before being modified for combat. It attacks by shooting Mega Man and after a number of shots, it alternates its aim.

In Mega Man 2 it appears in Flash Man's stage and in Crash Man's stage. It also appears in certain areas of the Wily Castle.

They appear in Crash Man's stage in Mega Man II. They also appear in Mega Water S's and Hyper Storm H's stage, as well as the second Wily Tower stage in Mega Man: The Wily Wars.

Despite seemingly having only one arm, their defeat animation in Mega Man Powered Up shows their other arm.

Mega Man (Archie Comics)[]

A Shotman appeared on the cover of Mega Man #11. Later in Sonic: Worlds Unite Battles, the Shotmen themselves are finally seen as one of Wily's minions from Mega Man 2 in the Sky Patrol's training room.

Other appearances[]

Shotman had brief appearances in the Rockman World 2 manga.
