Chainsoar (チェンソール, Chensōru^?) is an enemy in Mega Man V who has a sawblade as an attack. It appears in Mercury's stage and in the Wily Star. Mega Man cannot jump over it without taking damage so it is best for the player to destroy it. The Chainsoar's sawblade deflects attacks so Mega Man must attack its head or its back. After it is defeated, the sawblade will detach and chase Mega Man, bouncing off walls. The blade only gets destroyed by either falling down a hole, going off-screen, or by using Saturn's weapon, Black Hole.
