Blockape (ブロックエイプ Burokkueipu) is a monkey-like enemy Mechaniloid from Mega Man X7 that appears in Soldier Stonekong's stage.
They appear in groups and have three different varieties of movement. Some lunge at enemies that get close to them, some hang from trees and throw coconut-shaped bombs, and four Blockapes (one white leader and three red) stand stacked on each other to act as a blockade and throw bombs at enemies. If a red Blockape is destroyed, the remaining three will leap down and lunge at the closest enemy. However, if the leader is destroyed, the three red Blockapes are destroyed as well.
