Blade Launcher is a special weapon that Mega Man obtains by defeating Blade Man in Mega Man 3 for the PC. It fires three razor-edged cutting blades upward in a spreading pattern, similar to the Triple Blade used by Blade Man from Mega Man 10.

Blade Launcher does per hit 8 damage to Oil Man (being particularly lethal to him at close range), 3 damage to Bit Man Wave Man and Torch Man, but only 1 damage to CRORQ.

TriviaEdit

• In the games data, there are unused sprites of "weapons unlocked", where Mega Man is holding his new weapon.
• Blade Launcher acts similarily to Triple Blade weapon from Mega Man 10 with three exceptions. First, blades from Blade Launcher can`t be sent in "air-to-surface" pattern (it is when blades flies in downward-diagonal manner instead of upward-diagonal), which is possible with Triple Blade. Second, Blade Launcher sends shuriken-like blades, when the Triple Blade sends knife-like blades. Third, blades from Blade Launcher flies much slower, than blades from Triple Blade.
