Barrell Caskett (バレル・キャスケット, Bareru Kyasuketto^?, Barrel Casket in Japan) is Roll Caskett's grandfather and like a father to Mega Man ever since he found him. He is a respected professor and well-known retired Digger who used to travel the world with Von Bluecher to uncover ancient civilizations. He is very experienced and is there to advise Mega Man and Roll. He has a daughter called Matilda, who is in fact Roll's Mother. He thought he lost her when he saw her at a conference with Von Bluecher.
