Ann Zap or Ms. Zap, known as Ann Elecitel (アン・エレキテル, Ann Elecitel) or Mrs. Elec (エレキ夫人 Ereki Fujin) in Japan, is the wife of Count Zap and the operator of ElecMan.EXE in Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar.

Ann is Netopian and although she dresses elegantly, she is poor.

Appearance

Ann Zap is an elderly woman with gray hair, blue eyes and pink lips. She wears a yellow jacket with purple buttons, maroon boots, a white scarf (with ElecMan's Navi mark on it) and a purple hat with light bulbs on it. She also wears a long skirt dress with yellow stripes that seems to be repaired with giant square patches throughout.

Ann first appears when Lan goes to Sky Town and gives lessons on how to use ElecMan as a Link Navi. She reveals herself to be Count Zap (Jack)'s wife which shocks Lan. Jack's arrest ruined the Zap family's name, having her now doing lectures and all she can to restore its name. However, Ann isn't angry at Lan and is thankful that her husband is able to try and get his life back on track.

Ann's original lesson is changed when ghost Navis from the Undernet drain all of Sky Town's power. The lesson becomes restoring power to the Net and after the mission, Ann battles Lan. Upon defeat, she allows Lan to use ElecMan anytime as a Link Navi and can be rebattled, and MegaMan obtains the Elec Cross.

Ann appears in Rockman.EXE Beast+ to settle an affair over her estate with Count Zap. She also appears much younger than her game counterpart.

Trivia

• In the Japanese version, she adopts the pseudonym of Mrs. Elec as a counterpart to her husband's Count Elec. Their true names are Ann Elecitel and Jack Elecitel respectively.
  • In the English Battle Network 6 this distinction isn't made, so she uses Ms. Zap and Ann Zap without indicating her real name. The English Official Complete Works couldn't figure out this localization oddity, so their Japanese names are written for the developer commentary. In the game's E-Mails she writes her name as "Ms. Zap".
